1. Your roots are showing? Whats that, no time for a touch up? Grab your mascara and dab the wand over your roots. Blend it in with a toothbrush or eye brow comb, and voila. Don't worry blondies, you can use a taupe or beige eye shadow to fix the same problem. Just make sure to spritz the area with a little bit of hairspray to make it last all day and it will wash right out when you need it too.

2. If you want loose waves but don't have time or energy to style it that way, the night before sleep in a loose braid or a bun on the top of your head, preferably wet. In the morning, take your hair out, spray a little bit of sea salt spray for some volume and tousle while blow drying.

3. Don't wash your hair everyday!! You are washing out the important oils your hair needs to seal and smooth the hairs cuticle, which in return reflects light and makes hair look shiny. When you do wash, shampoo your whole head, but only condition from the middle of your head down to the ends.
Suggestion: Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

4. Frizz or little baby hairs driving you insane? Spray a toothbrush with hairspray or use a little gel to calm down flyaways.
Suggestion: L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray
5. Do your bobby pins tend to slide out? Mine do! I never use my bobby pins without a quick spray of hairspray or dry shampoo first. It gives them a little extra grip so you don’t have to worry about your hair style falling out. Give them a light spray, and then allow them to dry for a minute or two before inserting them into your hair. This is especially helpful on fine, straight and thin hair. Also keeps you from over spraying your whole head, in return, no crunchy hair.
Suggestion: L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray

6. Before you go swimming (especially in a chlorinated pool), get your hair wet with regular water. The water fills up the cuticle, repelling the damaging chlorine water. For extra insurance, slick on some conditioner after wetting your hair.
Suggestion: Aussie Hair Insurance Leave in Conditioner
7. Cloth hair ties not only protect your hair from snagging. They also help prevent that awful dent in your hair many elastics tend to leave. I recently switched to cloth hair ties and I will NEVER go back to regular hair elastics.
Suggestion: Emi-Jay printed cloth hair ties

8. Dry shampoo not only absorbs excess oil in your hair, it also gives it volume. Even if your hair is squeaky clean, apply dry shampoo at the root to give it an extra lift. Who else is obsessed with the nice smell dry shampoos leave behind?
Suggestion: Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo

9. Did you dash out of the house without your headband and now your hair is all sorts of crazy? Create your own by braiding a crown across the front or middle of your head, then secure behind your ear with a bobby pin or inside a ponytail or up do with an elastic.
Super Cool!
