Beauty Buzz Trial - Nailtiques

Hey Beauty Bees,

Looking for some new products to get your nails looking perfect for this Fall season? Today I will be reviewing products from a brand called Nailtiques.

Nailtiques is a company based in Florida that is dedicated to the development and maintenance of healthy, natural nails. There nail care system treats multiple nail problems with six specially formulated protein strengths.

The products I was able to test out are:

-Nailtiques Hand Conditioner

-Nailtiques Formula 2 Treatment

-Nailtiques Protein Nail Lacquer in the color RIO

Hand Conditioner

There hand conditioner has a combination of pure aloe and jojoba oils that hydrates and conditions the hands and cuticle area. With one application I could tell how well it softened my skin and cuticles without softening my nails. Personally, the herbal scent is too strong and not my taste so I would not use this as an everyday hand lotion. It is however, perfect for when you are doing your nails and needing a product to help soften your cuticles, making them easier to push back. When I used it for that purpose only - I fell in love. This product will now be my go to when giving myself a manicure.

Protein 2
Treatment
Every Protein formula is created to treat different nail conditions. The Protein 2 Treatment is for soft, peeling, bitten, weak or thin nails. The salon-tested formula consists of a unique blend of protein and conditioners that bond the nail layers together building a strong nail foundation resistant to peeling, chipping and splitting. For application, you apply once a day until improvement then decrease usage. What I love most is that you can wear alone or underneath nail polish.  I have healthy nails so I would use Formula 1. There are four different formulas - check them out here for which is best for you. Even though I had no use for this type of product, I still tried it out to see if anything happened. I did not notice any difference except for that it gave my nails a nice shine. I did however let one of my friends who always complains about her nails chipping and she said that it was a miracle worker, making her nails thicker and stronger in just a few days of applying.

Protein
Nail Lacquer
in Rio
The 16 different colored polishes from this brand are all infused with the same protein the nail treatments use. The protein boost in these lacquers will allow the protein to penetrate through the polish to provide maximum benefits. A cool new technology created is the high quality brush that insures smooth streak free applications. I got to try out Rio, a very bright fuchsia pink color. The polish did in fact go on smoothly and dried very fast. It lasted about a week but I think it would have lasted longer if I had there own base and top coats.

Price: $10 each

Overall, Nailtiques products are a great buy. I love the fact that they have different products for every type of nail instead of trying to make one "holy" product that is suppose to work for everyone. when we all know that never works. The nail polish is great since it looks nice but behind the scenes it is helping your nails out too. The conditioner I would have liked more if it smelt better, but besides that the formula itself is amazing and works very well. There motto "nothing even comes close" is right!
