A Day in the Life of a Beauty Bee - My First Red Sox Game

Fenway Park scoreboard opener
Hey Beauty Bees,

Last Thursday I got to experience a first for me - a Boston Red Sox Game. This was actually my first ever MLB game and I had been looking forward to it for 2 months now. Chris and I actually have season tickets for this year to the Red Sox, so this may have been my first but will definitely not my last game.

With a new experience I thought it would be interesting to show you everything that went into getting ready for the baseball game (outfit/makeup) and how I thought the night went.

We had some beautiful weather that night but it did get chilly after the sun went down, considering how close the baseball park is to the Boston Harbor. I was very happy that I brought a jacket with me even though I did not want to carry it around with me at first.

I was very laid back in my fashion choice that night, but still wanted to wear something more than the typical jersey and sneakers that I saw around me. Even though I do plan on getting a Red Sox jersey of my favorite player, Mookie Betts, for future games. Here is what I wore and where I got it.

Jean Jacket - Torrid
Red Sox T-Shirt - Roster
White Tank - Forever 21
Cropped Leggings - Victoria's Secret PINK
Cut Out Sandals - Forever 21
My makeup for the red sox game
I went for a very subtle look for the game since I did not feel like it was an event that needed a full face of makeup. I used my everyday foundation routine to give myself a flawless canvas and then used some new products to make my eyes pop.

Face Makeup
Foundation - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-1 Foundation in Buff Beige
Concealer - Cover FX Cream Concealer
Powder - Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
Blush - Pandora's Makeup Box Blush in Pink Carnation
The NYC New York Color mascara and eyeline from my Voxbox
For my eyes I used the two products that I received in my NYC New York Color Voxbox, through Influenster.com. ("I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.")

Big Bold Angel Lash Mascara in Extra Black - This was an amazing mascara! It lengthened my lashes, making them look so long and did not clump at all. I also really loved how my lashes felt after the mascara dried, still being flexible and not extremely stiff like others do. This is a great mascara to wear for everyday.

Big Bold & Precise Felt Tip Liner in Extra Black - I have been loving all the different brands that have come out with eyeliners that can give you precise or thick bold lines. This particular one was very easy to use when thinly lining my top lash lines. It dried quickly and did not smudge at all.
Boston Red Sox game vs Texas Rangers at Fenway park
With my outfit and makeup all ready, we headed out for the night. The drive to Boston was full of traffic but also excitement. Once we got to Fenway Park and to our seats, I could not hold in my excitement anymore. I was very happy with how the weather was that day and how amazing the park looked with the sun setting. The park was jam packed with Red Sox fans which made the whole atmosphere even better with how spirited everyone got during the game. Even though we lost 3-1 to the Texas Rangers, I still had an amazing time.

Chris, being a huge baseball fan, told me I had to have the full Fenway experience during my first game. This included checking out all the vendors that were set up around the park and getting Fenway Franks, pretzels and a souvenir bottomless cup. We also got pictures taken with the field behind us which he bought for me and are now hanging on our fridge.

I can definitely say I can not wait until our next game to go back and cheer on the Red Sox. What baseball team do you follow?
