Beauty Buzz Trial - Square Hue Monthly Subscription

I absolutely love monthly subscription boxes, which is something you will learn about me. It is like a little Christmas present wrapped up and sent to your mailbox every month. Square Hue is a monthly nail polish subscription box that delivers a unique collection of premium nail polish colors at the price of $19.99/month ($14.99 + $5 shipping). Three full size polishes, which are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, are sent each month and are curated around a monthly theme. They are limited edition so you will have no worries about receiving the same color twice.

I like the square bottles because it helps with stability; I have had the experience of spilling nail polish all over one of my moms coffee tables and it is not a fun time. This company gives a satisfaction guarantee of a “5-Free” Clean formula –meaning they do not contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Camphor or Formaldehyde Resin. Also, they are not tested on animals, which right there gets a huge two thumbs up from me. Another amazing thing about them is that with every monthly subscription, a portion is automatically donated to organizations that are dedicated to helping others. Their current focus is Human Trafficking, "proceeds are being donated for prevention awareness, the protection of trafficked victims and the prosecution of human traffickers."

Now onto the July box I received. The July 2014 Square Hue Collection was The Passport Collection: Barcelona and included the following colors:
Rambla de Raval (Micro Shimmer) - Pink
Placa Catalunya (Micro Shimmer) - Orange
Passeig de Gracia (Shimmer) - Purple

I have a very hefty nail polish collection, but I can say that I do not have any colors like these making them very unique.

These polishes were probably the best polishes I have used in the longest time. These colors went on nicely and very opaque, meaning I could have gone with only doing one coat and you would not be able to see through to my nail. I did two coats though just to help the manicure last longer. I did not use a top coat just to test how long the wear length would be, and I can proudly say it took almost three days without a top coat for any of my nails to get the slightly chip or wear on them. With a top coat, these polishes could easily last anywhere from 7-10 days in my own opinion.
This subscription ships to the US and Canada at the beginning of the month, which is very nice because most subscription boxes do not ship until mid-month. They have automatic monthly shipments so you do not have to continually log on to get your box, or you can suspend or pause your account if you want to maybe skip a month or take a break to enjoy the new polishes you have already received. It is all up to you when you want to join or when you want to cancel, no tricks or hassles. There customer service is also very fast and helpful.

Overall, I extremely enjoyed this subscription box and if your somebody who loves nail polish, I think you will too.
