Spring 2015 Trends: Fashion

Hey Beauty Bees,

I am back today to talk about the Fashion Trends of Spring 2015. If you haven't already, check out my last post on Spring Beauty Trends where I talked about makeup, hair and nails.

Fashion shows are where we get inspiration for what we can wear for everyday. Sometimes the clothes can be taken right off the runway and put right into our closet, but sometimes it is just the idea that is meant to be taken away. 

These 5 trends are ones that I saw most often throughout the shows and ones that can be easily added to everyday wardrobes.

Polos

Designers played with the sporty theme this season when they added polos. This was a huge 90s trend and it is back. It was paired with very girly and flowy pieces like maxi skirts.The iconic designer of this trend is Ralph Lauren who had their girls sporting bright colored versions.

Gingham Print

Spring is all about the prints and this one in particular. Gingham is the tiny checked print (like the picnic tablecloth) which can come off as very feminine and sexy. Style it in a range of colors such as taupes, blues and reds. This print can work for everyone as it works in many forms such as mini-dresses, crop tops, power suits and shorts.

Military Jacket

This is my favorite trend of the Spring. Military-style pieces were everywhere on the runway this year, especially with Marc Jacobs. Although many designers took the literal route when it came to their looks, but for everyday choose more simple pieces that come in the olive-drab shade. My personal favorite style is the military jacket that has leather sleeves.

Big Floral

Floral is a no brainer for Spring fashion but I feel that the size of the flowers get bigger every year...and I was right. This year it is all about the big blooms since enlarged florals show more texture. Florals can be found in any type of clothing but just think big, bold and feminine while shopping.

70's Flared Pants

Although this is not a trend I will be going for, it was definitely a big one. The shape of our pants are getting wider very slowly which is why the baby bell bott0m is going to be very popular. It's nostalgic, it's flattering, and it can come in a color that is pastel-pretty.
