50 Shades of Berry
Hey Beauty Bees,
When I think of Fall colors, the first color that pops into my mind is "Berry". This can be in shades of red, pink or even purple. I have seen it in nature, but more often I have seen it in beauty and fashion. Lip shades have been revolutionized by the berry shades and I think it looks so pretty on anyone!
The Pantone color of 2015 was a also a berry shade - "Marsala". The Fall 2015 Pantone Color Report shared many colors that worked well together which included "Marsala", "Dried Herb", "Biscay Bay" and many more.
In today's post I wanted to give you ideas on how to incorporate this great color into your wardrobe and beauty routine with examples on what I would choose. Also, I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite berry colored products that are floating around in the retail world at this moment in time.
Beauty
Makeup is a great way to incorporate this shade because it can be used pretty much anywhere on your face (lips, eyes and face). I personally love letting it be the focal point of my makeup looks, for example, if I want to use it as my eye shade, I will pair it with a nude lip. I also really love using it on my nails with a really deep berry almost plum colored polish.

Fashion
I absolutely love this color for fashion because it can be matched so well with many different colors. Whether you are wearing it casually or in a more formal look, this color will brighten up your basic black look. Instead of throwing on that LBD (little black dress), toss on your LBD (little BERRY dress). If your curious what to pair it with, take a peek at the Pantone Color chart I included above.

Accessories
Adding pops of color through accessories is a great way to show off color trends if you are not exactly a fan of wearing them on your clothes. You will easily be able to find items like scarves and bags in a range of berry shades. I have recently fallen in love with this deep burgundy bag from Michael Kors.

Maroon, Burgundy and Merlot are just some of the many colors of berry that I have fallen in love with. I can confidently say that berry shades have taken over the Fall Season as well as my closet and with some of these examples, you will be able to incorporate it into your style as well.
Yes this Autumn really seem to be all about the berry shades. And I love it so much. Thank you for sharing and giving me some inspo./love Ida
