Christmas Stocking Stuffers for the Beauty Lover

Snowy background with makeup products
Hey Beauty Bees,

December is here which means Christmas is just around the corner! With the holiday shopping season in full swing, it is time to fill up those stockings that you hung by the chimney with care, but what do you put in there for that beauty lover? This post will share all the stocking stuffer goodies that this type of person will be thanking you all year for.

So go ahead, pour yourself a nice cup of cocoa, settle in, and behold all of the fabulous stocking stuffer options that I've found for the beauty lover in your life.

Lip Products
The first idea that comes to mind when I think of stocking stuffers is lip products! There are so many to choose from: lipsticks, liners, glosses, butters, balms, stains, scrubs, etc.  The list is endless. Once you choose a product type, then you must choose a color! Trust me, options will be your best friend. Choose lip products that come in sets with multiple colors so your gift receiver can test out which colors they like most! Even drugstores and discount stores carry some really nice sets like this Beauty Concepts 4 Piece Lip Butter set which I got at Marshalls for only $4.99.

Makeup Palettes
One of the easiest gifts to throw in a stocking is a palette! They come in all shapes, sizes and product types. This Laura Geller Dripping in Gold Illuminator Highlighting Palette is the perfect size for a stocking and will make anyone glow with happiness. Any of the Naked Palettes by Urban Decay are another favorite option of mine. If you are not sure what kind of palette would make a good gift, check out Ulta's website for this ginormous list of palettes selling from $3-$110. I am sure you will find something for your beauty lover there!

Hair care
This category has a widespread of options as you could include hair products ( hairspray, conditioners, etc.) or hair accessories (headbands, clips, etc.). As many name brand hair products can get pretty steep in price, I always reach for travel size or mini versions to put into stockings. You will save not only space but also some money. I know my friends love to receive dry shampoo, so depending on your budget, here are some options:

Perfume
My personal favorite item to receive in stockings are perfumes and body mists. With unlimited scents out there it can be difficult to narrow it down to one, but if you are looking for a particular scent I wrote a whole guide on how to read perfume bottle labels which you can check out here! Lancome makes my two favorite scents: La Vie Est Belle and Idole. Both of which come in many different sizes and are shown below. Of course, perfume is probably one of the more expensive gifts someone can get, so a wallet friendly option would be body sprays and mists from many different retailers. At just $7.50 per miniature body mist, Victoria Secret PINK carries some great scents.

Skincare is another fun choice for stocking stuffers as you can choose from face masks, moisturizers, serums, creams, and facial mists. Some really great brands that make skincare products are Clinique, First Aid Beauty, and Glamglow. If you are truly lost for ideas with this category, both Sephora and Ulta offer gift sets that include their most-loved skincare products in miniature size. Check them out here: Sephora Favorites Clean Skincare for a Cause // $32 or Merry Bright Skincare by Ulta Beauty // $39

Bath and Body
Scrubs, lotions, shower gels, bubble bath and bath bombs are all great little treats to add to a stocking. As shown below, the brand Dirty Works makes some great sets of body lotions that will keep your skin super moisturized and come in amazing scents like coconut, vanilla, and shea. Some of my other favorite stores that carry all kinds of bath and body products are Bath and Body Works, The Body Shop, and Lush.

Nail Polish
What is great about nail polish is that you can find it pretty much anywhere you go: drugstores, cosmetic stores, salons, department stores, and even clothing retail stores. Around Christmas time I like to pick metallic or sparkly nail shades that will sparkle throughout all the different holiday parties that I go to. Have fun with picking out a few pretty shades or grab a set that includes multiple for your beauty stocking receiver to choose from.
Brushes and Beauty Tools
With all the new makeup and beauty products that you will be filling the stocking with, you need some cosmetic tools to help apply them like brush sets and sponges. I personally love the Real Techniques brand for makeup brushes including their powder, contour and blush brush that comes in their Everyday Essentials set. I also love brushes from It Cosmetics, Morphe, and E.L.F. Cosmetics. Some other tools that your beauty lover could use are eyelash curlers, brow spoolies, mirrors, blotting papers, and sharpeners. Grab a couple of these and toss them in!

And if all else fails...buy a gift card to one of the many beauty brands and retailers I mentioned throughout this post. This way you know for sure the receiver is getting exactly what they want because they get to choose it!

That's everything! Any of these products will make perfect additions to the ultimate beauty lovers Christmas stocking. So pick out a stocking, choose a few products and you will be on the way to gifting the best beauty treats ever!
