Beauty Buzz Trial - Ipsy Bag July 2015 "Summer Lovin"

Beauty Buzz Trial - Ipsy Bag July 2015 "Summer Lovin"
Hey Beauty Bees,

This month Ipsy has brought us a bag full of "Summer Lovin" products. There was an array of amazing looking products and I am here to share what came in my bag. I got my bag extremely late this month but I was still able to get a couple days in of testing before doing this review.

The pretty ipsy bag
Once again, Ipsy is doing an amazing job with their bag designs. The colors in this month's bag is so bright and fun; I can not wait to swap it into my purse for the month.
Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color
Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color in Gilt & Pencil Sharpener - Full Size Value $28
Before this month, I had not heard of Nudestix before but I ended up loving this shadow stick. The golden shade is perfect for Summer looks and the pencil is very pigmented. It also stays put extremely well which is a good and bad thing. The color will stay for you all day but it did not want to blend out well with other eye shadows. The addition of the pencil sharpener is a huge seller for me, because I always hate when I start using a shadow stick like this but I do not own the right type of sharpener for it. It even worked well at sharpening my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils.
Crown Brush Professional Tweezers
Crown Brush Professional Tweezers - Full Size Value $17.49
I will admit that I was not excited to get a pair of tweezers since I have many really good pairs but this one is definitely at par with the others. It always is good to have an extra set so I will be leaving these in the car in case I ever find myself needing them. It was cool seeing that the brand Crown Brush makes other really great beauty tools beyond their brushes.
City Color Cosmetics HD Loose Powder
City Color Cosmetics HD Loose Powder -  Sample Size Value $3.41
I am used to my colored powders but this transparent powder worked amazing at giving my face a matte look. It was also a very soft powder giving my face a nice smooth finish. I can see myself using this powder a lot to set my under eye concealer.
Jorel Parker Classico Perfume Roller Ball
Jor'el Parker Classico Rollerball Perfume - Full Size Value $21
I wasn't happy that this perfume came in a roller ball but for once it actually worked really well at getting perfume onto my skin. The scent of this perfume was absolutely intoxicating to me and I honestly believe it might become my new favorite scent. It has notes of "spicy" Indian Tuberose, "sweet" Turkish Cyclamen and "purifying" Spanish Mandarin, which combine to create an invigorating fragrance. I want to say it is more of a mature scent then something a teenager might want to wear but it diffuses into a really nice sweet/musky fragrant.
Purlisse Purbright Ultra Skin Brightening Serum

pūr~lisse pūr-bright Ultra Skin Brightening Serum - Sample Size Value $25.33
Before I try out any product, I always look it up on the brands website to learn more about it and to make sure I am using it to its fullest potential. I was shocked to see how expensive it was, 1 ounce for $76, making my sample size around $25. I used it for a few days but I did not notice my face looking any brightener or any other difference really. It did apply well, absorbing into my skin easily, especially since I used a little bit more then I probably needed the first time around. It did have a really nice scent to it but I do not think it is the right product for me.Buxom Eyeshadow bar single eyeshadow
Buxom Eyeshadow Bar Single Eyeshadow in VIP and Empty Eyeshadow Bar Compact - Full Size Value $17 (Points Redemption Product)
With my Ipsy points racking up, I was able to get a 500 point reward product. I choose this beautiful purple shadow from Buxom. It did not show up in the photos, but this shade has the prettiest shimmers in it. The pigmentation is lighter then I was hoping but I can tell that it will be able to build up to a great color. I was very impressed that they also sent the compact to put the shadow in since Ipsy has given samples before with just the shadow pan in a plastic covering.

July's bag was valued at $112.33 and contained 4 full sized and 2 sample sized products. I can not believe how great of a value I got in this bag. It is the most expensive bag I have ever received and it included 6 great products. My favorite product was the perfume because of how amazing it smells. My least favorite would be the face serum since it did not really work for me. Over all I think this was a really great bag and I can not wait to keep on trying everything out.
